The base anchor consists of two plates. The upper plate
attaches to the bottom of your unit with the powerful RIGHTON adhesive. The lower plate is
bolted to the upper plate securing a hardened steel pin. This pin passes through a hole in
your bench and is secured with a padlock from below. The SPOTLINK-5, unlike its
competitors, does not depend on the weak adhesion of a laminated table top. |
| Once installed, your secured unit is free to rotate in
place. It also may be freed for use elsewhere by unlocking and removing the padlock. The
unit can them be lifted to allow removal of the bottom plate and steel pin. A 5/8"
hole in your bench is a small price to pay for the security you get. (Bench may be up to
1-3/8" thick) |
